Hello moo Xcache, please help me because I have very strange problem compatibility with Joomla Portal, CMS free. From when I installed XCache on my dedicated server (Liquidweb Hosting) it works very well with vBulletin, but make stange error with Joomla. I cannot do change and than save my configuration in Joomla Administration, I don't receive any mistakes, but it don't save some changes in Administration. I already contact Staff of my server but they can't resolve this issue and they don't understand where is the problem. On my server I have: Apache 2.2.9 / FastCGI PHP 5.2.6 XCache 1.2.1 Some words from my LiquidWeb staff: The problem is with ownership and permissions of configuration.php for each of these Joomla installations. However, I am now experiencing an odd problem. I've set the ownership and permissions to allow web editing of configuration.php for p2psin.net (/home/jarod/public_html/configuration.php) However, this is only good for ONE edit. Once the configuration is saved, the file permissions are being reset and no further changes can be made. I am having difficulty determining why this is happening. something in Joomla is changing the file permissions when it's done writing configuration.php. However, I'm still confused about why this is happening. Every time Joomla edits its configuration file, it locks down the file permissions so that they cannot be edited again. I'm still looking into this. I've been able to get it to behave normally when using suphp instead of fcgi. However, I cannot yet make it work under fcgi. Can you help me to resolve this incredible and bad problem? Thanks... Jarod
