lighttpd forum lighty > 1.4.19: mod_geoip + mod_proxy

Hi,

I've just changed configuration from lighty+fastcgi to 
lighty+mongrel_cluster.

And my problem is that after proxing requests to mongrel 
request.env["GEOIP_COUNTRY_CODE"] has just disappeared.

I found setenv module but I'm not sure it is what I need.
Any help?
