Directed Donation to XCache

I'm wondering if it would be possible to make a "directed" donation to 
XCache? We very much like XCache but the segmented cache memory on IIS 
when using FastCGI is keeping us from moving to it in our production 
environments. I'm wondering if it would be possible to make a donation 
specifically to go towards the development effort to get some form of 
"unified" memory (or whatever it would be called) so that seperate PHP 
CGI processes share the same cache space.

it is scheduled in 2.0 but the progress is slowdown due to lack of time
