lighttpd forum XCache > Xcache adjustments for a powerfull server

Hello

What adjustments are good to do in xcache settings for my server for 
better performance:

# 2x Intel Xeon Quad 5405
# 8192 MB FB DDR2 RAM
# 500 GB 7.200 RPM
# 1.000Mbit port
# Centos 64bit


I think i must increase the default settings but which of them and which 
values to use?

xcache.size, to 512M or so? depends how many *.php you have and how big 
they're. set up xcache stats page and watch it after minutes or hours 
running
